President's Message

Happy Holidays

On behalf of our Board of Directors, I extend our best wishes to each and every one of you for a happy holiday season and a healthy New Year. Thanks to all of you who took time to attend LIWA's annual open board meeting. There was a great informal exchange between many of those who lead Long Island's women's organizations.

LIWA exists because of your participation and energy, and we thank you for being a part of the Long Island Women's Agenda. Thanks to all of you who sent in submissions to Issues in Focus, our bi- annual newsletter. You will see it in the mail by mid- January.

Soon, we will begin to solicit interest in serving on LIWA's new board, and get ready to celebrate our 10th anniversary at this year's annual awards dinner.
